Tim has served in nearly every role of a community bank over the past 32 years. As President/Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of WCF since April 26, 2021, he is responsible for the daily activities and performance of the bank, including managing the bank’s Executive Team, and is the primary point of contact for shareholders. His banking philosophy is simple. “I pride myself on frequently visiting with all members of the bank staff and getting to know them on a personal level. My approach is to hire the best bankers possible and ensure they have the relevant training, tools, and financial products to perform their jobs at a high level. This allows them to flourish professionally while focusing on providing our customers with excellent service.” Tim is a graduate of Simpson College (Indianola, Iowa) and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His hobbies include travel and following University of Iowa Hawkeye athletics. He is actively involved with St. Paul Lutheran Church in Webster City, serving in leadership positions and volunteering with the church’s local food pantry.
Todd brings more than three decades of community banking experience to his role as EVP and Chief Information Security Officer at WCF. He leads the bank’s efforts in information security, IT infrastructure, and physical security, ensuring the safety and resilience of both digital and physical assets. Todd is a thoughtful leader who cares about people, believes in mentoring, and knows how to keep things running smoothly. He’s known for his commitment to personalized service and a strong focus on operational excellence. He holds dual degrees from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and maintains several professional designations, including National Check Professional (NCP), Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), and Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP). Todd began his career as a teller in 1994 and has since served in six financial institutions, nearly all of them community-focused. A Minnesota native and father of two, Todd enjoys fishing, camping, hunting, and photography. He is also a trained Skywarn Storm Spotter and licensed HAM radio operator.
Lisa Johnson joined WCF Financial Bank in 2021 and brings a wealth of experience across banking operations, trust services, audit, asset liability management, and finance. As SVP and COO, Lisa is known for her sharp focus, strategic mindset, and unwavering dedication to the bank, our team, and our shareholders. An Iowa native and proud Iowa State University alum, Lisa blends her professional drive with a love for adventure. When she’s not leading operational excellence, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband and two daughters.
Michelle brings over 20 years of banking experience to WCF Financial Bank, where she serves as Chief Financial Officer. Her career began in public accounting, spending 4½ years as an auditor and tax preparer before transitioning into the banking world. With deep expertise in finance and operations, Michelle plays a key role in guiding the bank’s financial strategy and performance. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Simpson College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Outside of work, Michelle enjoys life with her two sons—both proud University of Iowa graduates—and her two dogs who keep things lively at home.
Kelly has served within the banking industry for the past 26 years, performing all aspects of lending and managing banking functions. He currently serves WCF in a variety of roles, including senior vice president as well as market president and senior loan officer for Tama/Toledo operations. Kelly earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at Buena Vista University and a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. He is a part of the Region 6 Housing Trust Board. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, hunting and doing just about anything outdoors.
Stephanie joined the WCF team in 2002 while attending Webster City High School. She has held many roles during her career, beginning in the Webster City office before moving to the Independence branch. Today she is part of the bank’s Executive team and serves as the Market President in Independence with responsibilities for the growth and oversight of that office. She also is the bank’s Compliance Officer, a lender, and is instrumental in the bank’s employee training efforts. Upon graduation from Webster City High School, Steph earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Buena Vista University, and later completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned additional certifications in Executive Leadership from the Wisconsin School of Business, as well as from the Iowa Bankers Association Compliance School. In 2021 Stephanie was honored as one of six recipients of the prestigious Bank Beat Magazine Outstanding Women in Banking. She and her husband live in Independence and are very involved in their children’s activities, and she serves as the Relay for Life Treasurer.
With 6 years of insurance experience, 7 years in business and 15 years in banking under his belt, Brad is well-positioned to serve WCF’s clients as vice president of lending. A self-described straight talker, he is committed to making the lending process efficient and smooth. Brad earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and mathematics from Loras College. He pitched for men’s fastpitch softball for 20 years, including at the world tournament in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. When he’s not busy with work, you might find him in a duck blind or out fishing with his two beautiful children.
Julie joined the bank as a teller in 1998. She has more than 23 years of experience in many aspects of banking with WCF. Even though the banking industry has changed over the years, the one thing that has not changed for Julie is her passion for helping others. She was born and raised in Webster City, where she resides with her husband, Dale. She has two grown sons, Nicholas and Brett. Julie belongs to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and serves her ministry in many ways. She enjoys running, biking, skiing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Sheila holds the honor of having served at WCF the longest - 42 years! She specializes in assisting customers with IRAs, CDs and wire transfers. She treasures the relationships she has formed at the Webster City branch. Sheila has been married for more than 30 years, the result of which are two children and one grandchild. She loves to go camping, riding with her husband on his motorcycle, reading, crocheting and quilting.
As Operations Supervisor at WCF, Emily puts helping customers first. She earned an Associate degree in business administration and management. When she, her husband and their dog Remi aren’t camping, they are at the races, spending time with family and friends.
Shannon joined WCF in 2024, bringing over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Passionate about helping others, Shannon is inspired by the many people she has met throughout her career. She resides in central Iowa, with her dog Rocky, and enjoys weekends at her hobby farm in southern Minnesota. Shannon is an active member of Vibrant Life Assembly of God Church and volunteers with Raise the Bar Initiative. In her free time, she loves outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.
Nick exemplifies commitment to both professional growth and community engagement. As the Director of Credit Administration, he brings valuable expertise in CECL analysis and crafting impactful board presentations. Nick’s foundation includes a double major in Marketing and Management from Iowa State University. His Certified Community Bank Credit Analyst (CCBCA) designation further showcases his continuous pursuit of learning. He is a driving force in improving operations through new procedures and guidance. Outside the office, Nick is an active and contributing member of the Independence community
With 13 years in banking and 10 years of loan processing under her belt, Jenn is well positioned to serve Tama customers. In addition to serving as a Mortgage Loan Processor, she assists in new accounts and teller duties — which means she can assist just about anyone who walks in the door! A graduate of Marshalltown Community College, Jenn also holds professional designations from Iowa Bankers Consumer Credit School and Iowa Bankers Lending Compliance School. She keeps connected to the community through a variety of organizations, such as Toledo Wieting Theater and South Tama Archery, and volunteers for a number of local organizations, including Kids’ Corner Daycare, Kids’ Corner Fundraising Committee and Tama-Toledo Chamber of Commerce.
With 19 years of banking experience and the ability to help in all areas of the bank, Lesa can help Tama area customers with most all their banking needs. Lesa’s role is Customer Service meaning one may find her opening a new account, closing a loan, or processing a deposit for customers. Lesa earned her bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from Buena Vista University and holds a professional designation from the Iowa Bankers Consumer and Compliance School. She is active in her community through volunteering at the Wieting Theater. Lesa enjoys shopping, boating, skiing, and being active with her family and friends.
Brooke A. Yuska has dedicated over two decades to mastering the art of customer service, with a passion for excellence and a genuine desire to meet and exceed the needs of those she serves. A proud graduate of Kirkwood Community College, Brooke earned her associate degree in Legal Administrative Assistance, laying a strong foundation for her impressive career in customer service. Her journey is highlighted by a 15-year tenure in the banking sector, where she excelled as an Assistant Cashier/Head Teller. Beyond her professional achievements, Brooke's heart truly lies in the joys of family life and community involvement. She cherishes time spent with her family, whether it's vacationing together or supporting her children in their sports activities. Brooke's commitment to her community extends beyond her professional duties as she actively volunteers, contributing her time and talents to make a positive impact.
A graduate of South Tama High School, Dahiana has spent much of her career in the customer service field. Most recently she helped the Tama/Toledo residents with their insurance needs. Approaching customers with a friendly smile and providing them with a positive experience is very important to Dahiana. In her free time, Dahiana enjoys being with her family.
Gwen joined the WCF family while completing her Business and Accounting degree at Buena Vista University. She fills a number of roles with WCF including helping customers with their banking transactions, opening new accounts, and assisting our loan officers. Gwen's upbeat and positive attitude makes the Tama office a welcoming place for customers and coworkers. When not at WCF you might find Gwen fishing, shopping, working out, or hanging out with her family.
Kailee Meek embarked on her professional journey in the banking sector with a robust foundation, spending a year at a bank where she honed her skills in various roles. During her time there, Kailee not only excelled at opening new accounts and operating as a teller but also demonstrated a keen aptitude for customer service by adeptly handling phone inquiries and assisting clients with online banking issues. Outside the bank, Kailee's life is deeply rooted in her close-knit family and community involvement, particularly in the realm of sports. As the second of four girls, her family ties are strong, often found coaching or supporting her sisters in the South Tama's AAU volleyball program. Her commitment to family and community is evident, as her free time is invariably spent with her sisters, her nephew, or her beloved dog, Nova. Despite starting her higher education journey at the University of Northern Iowa with a focus on elementary education, Kailee's path led her back home, where she transitioned into a promising career in banking, melding her personal values with her professional aspirations.
Carol was born and raised in Independence and earned her Associates Degree from Hawkeye Community College as an Executive Secretary major. She has spent her entire 26 year career as a banker which includes experience as a teller, consumer and commercial loan processor, and commercial banking assistant. She joined the WCF team in Independence in 2022 and serves as a Senior Loan Processor/Internal Loan Auditor. In her free time Carol enjoys spending time with her adult daughter, son-in-law, and their six pets. She and her husband love to fish the Mississippi River, ride and take trips on their motorcycles, and spoil their own dog, 12 year old Nugget.
Jill provides a variety of services to customers at WCF’s Independence branch: processing and funding loans, handling escrow accounts, assisting with new accounts, performing teller duties and providing a broad range of customer service. She is a graduate of Iowa Falls-Alden High School and La’ James International College of Cosmetology.
Jackie started her WCF career as a teller and customer service representative. Today, the commercial loan processor prepares and organizes applications for all commercial loans and taps into her vast experience to assist customers in any other ways she can. Jackie earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
A lifelong customer service professional, Kayla serves as a loan processor at the Webster City branch, which serves the community where she was raised.
Tricia is a Jewell native and a graduate of the South Hamilton High School. Tricia has spent much of her career in the accounting and customer service fields. In May of 2023, Tricia graduated from DMACC as an Accounting Specialist with certificates in Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Payroll. A proud grandparent, Tricia and her husband have two grown children. They enjoy relaxing at their timber lot, riding motorcycles, and spending time with their family.
An Eagle Grove High School graduate, Kya earned her Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Medication Administration certifications from Iowa Central Community College. Kya has worked in customer service her entire life. When she’s not helping her neighbors with their financial needs at WCF, you might find her playing the piano or demonstrating her skills as a Shotokan karate blackbelt.
A Webster City High School graduate, Jeanine has spent much of her career in customer service. Jeanine enjoys helping her hometown residents with their financial transactions and ensuring that their needs are fully met. When not at WCF, Jeanine enjoys spending time with her family.
For the past three years, Elizabeth has been a friendly face at WCF Financial Bank, working as a Customer Service Representative. Whether it's answering everyday banking questions or handling teller transactions with ease, Elizabeth is always ready to help. Fluent in both Spanish and English, she also assists with translations—especially during home closings, which she finds incredibly rewarding. Outside of work, Elizabeth brings the same energy to her personal life. You’ll often find her jamming to music, exploring local parks on walks, or showing off her moves in Just Dance. She loves spending quality time with her younger siblings and cruising around town with her fiancé—windows down, music up! A creative at heart, Elizabeth plays the flute and is currently learning the art of nail design from home. Whether it’s helping customers or mastering a new skill, Elizabeth does it all with a smile.
I grew up in Kamrar, Iowa, a small town with a close-knit community. After completing my education at South Hamilton Community School District, I continued my studies at Iowa Central Community College, where I earned my Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Throughout my life, I’ve had the privilege of working in customer service roles, where I honed my communication skills and developed a deep understanding of meeting people’s needs. Additionally, I have extensive experience in cash handling, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. When I’m not working, I cherish spending quality time with family and friends, sharing stories and creating lasting memories.
Chyne is a Customer Service Representative at WCF Financial Bank, where she has worked for over a year. She manages deposits, withdrawals, account openings (including CDs, checking, and savings), receptionist duties, and account updates—always with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. Though she attended Aplington-Parkersburg High School, Chyne lived in Ackley, Iowa during that time and now resides in Vincent. She studied Communications with a Business minor at Central College in Pella, gaining strong skills in interpersonal and intercultural communication. Her background in retail and customer service laid the foundation for her dedication to helping clients reach their financial goals. Outside of work, Chyne enjoys reading, baking, working on cars with her dad, and exploring trails with her fiancé and his daughter.
