Community Support

A Resource for Central Iowa

WCF is proud to be a community bank — but what does that really mean?

Simply put, our bank, staff, officers and directors are all committed to giving back to the communities that support us. We do this in a variety of ways:

First, the money you deposit is invested locally in Webster City, Independence, Tama and surrounding areas in the form of loans. These local loans help people in our communities — your friends and neighbors — buy houses, build businesses and operate farms. This leads to increased economic activity that helps our communities thrive.

Second, WCF provides financial support to local nonprofit and charitable organizations. These entities play a vital role in serving our citizens, and they depend heavily on financial support from local businesses and their employees. WCF is committed to helping these organizations continue to do great work in our local communities.

Third, our staff, officers, and directors volunteer their time to benefit local nonprofits and charities. You’ll see us helping with a wide variety of local events. Again, these opportunities provide us with ways to give back and support the people and communities that have supported us.

Helping our communities is an essential part of the fabric of our bank. Like you, we have chosen to live and work here, and as such, we have a vested interested in making the communities in Hamilton, Buchanan, and Tama counties as prosperous and vibrant as they can be.

It’s what a true community bank does!

WCF Financial Bank is extremely proud to pledge a $25,000 donation in support of the capital campaign of LIFT WC, a local non profit organization here in Webster City. LIFT WC is currently collecting funds and three year pledges to rehabilitate the historic Elks Building. This project is a key component of the downtown revitalization of our community, and we’re honored to participate.
