She keeps connected to the community through a variety of organizations, such as Toledo Wieting Theater and South Tama Archery, and volunteers for a number of local organizations, including Kids’ Corner Daycare, Kids’ Corner Fundraising Committee and Tama-Toledo Chamber of Commerce.

As the second of four girls, her family ties are strong, often found coaching or supporting her sisters in the South Tama's AAU volleyball program. Over the decades, Sheila has formed lasting relationships with customers and colleagues at the Webster City branch—connections she continues to treasure. Her warm demeanor and commitment to service have made her a cornerstone of the WCF experience. Outside of work, Sheila leads a full and active life. She has been happily married for more than 35 years and is a proud mother of two and grandmother of one. She enjoys camping, riding motorcycles with her husband, reading, crocheting, and quilting.
